Finally FreeA Poem by HaleythePoetTrying something new...
The sunlight reaches over the trees illuminating my pale color
My hooves and limbs, they cannot move My mouth is permanently open and letting out a silent scream As the lights and sounds come on around me The children wait in line to ride me To kick my sides hard and pull the reigns Screaming to their delight the fun They are having this awful day As the sun starts to set The children go home I feel my limbs start to crack And my silent scream turns to a furious neigh I break free of this pole My hooves can move free My body no longer taken Til next mornings glee
