Letting Go

Letting Go

A Poem by HaleythePoet
"

Not sure where this is going.

"
There are more fish in the sea they said
Move on they said
They never said how hard it would be
Because they never said there were sharks in the sea

I wish to stand on the shore letting the breeze lift my hair
And the smell of salt water fill my lungs
I wish for the water to gently tickle my feet
Then return to where it came

I look out at the water and see a beautiful sunset
And a dolphin jumping out of the water
The seagulls are cawing cheerfully
And the waves play a gentle tune

To enter the ocean again presents it's risks
You will either sink or swim
But I'll never know until I try
I take the first step and see the true beauty of what I'm missing.

Lot of people don't "like" their life... few ever edit it though.

it was said also, the one whose hand is in water cant feel the one whose hand is burning in fire..people think in a different way taking it easy when the issue is not concerning them. i loved how you have penned this one..
