TattoosA Story by HaleythePoetJust a self expression story/poem thing I guess.
People say that people with tattoos are freaks
That we are mean, inconsiderate, and sinners People tie in tattoos with religions Just because your's says it's wrong Doesn't mean that I can't have one I don't even believe in the same thing you do But I don't judge you do I? I have a lion king tattoo on my right ankle And under it in cursive, it says "Remember who you are" To me, tattoos show who I am, and what I believe in That line always means so much to me And has helped me through my darkest times I plan on getting another similar to it Only the logo of Evanescence will be the next one Amy has saved me from suicide, cutting, and depression And every day I look at my tattoos, I remember what I have been through And how strong I have become So before you judge me about my tattoos Try walking a day in my shoes You'll find I'm more than meets the eye.
