My perfect day

Consists of waking up beside you

Curled up in your arms

Without a fear in the world

My perfect day

Has no drama at all

Just you and I being happy

Without a care in the world

My perfect day

Is one without pain

One without weakness

And one without tears

My perfect day

Is one where you smile at me

And tell me you love me

Where you hold me close

And never let me go

I don’t care what we do on my perfect day

I just want to be with you

And feel safe and loved

My perfect day is where we sit or lay together

Whispering about words from the heart

Or about random things

My perfect day

Was half shown to me

The first day that you kissed me

If there is a heaven

I found it on Earth here with you

I don’t see how much happier I could be

When I am with you

My perfect day

Is one where I can look at you

And you look back at me

And we both feel very much in love with each other

And time just seems to stop

My perfect day would end

With me falling asleep in your arms

After a few kisses here and there

After resting my hand on your heart

Feeling its strong, steady beat

Knowing it’s beating for me

And you know mine will always beat for you

My perfect day, is any day I spend with you.

You once asked if my feelings were true

My dear, my feelings are of true love for you.
