A Demon with the Appearance of AngelsA Poem by YourMajesty2102This is a poem about the Church(the demon)... In honor of the most beutiful poems ever Daemonic Love and Celestial Love by Ralph Waldo Emerson... My eyes were truly opened when I read these poems!Am I the only one who can see The Demon that was set free? A Demon that looks like an angel But is really a scoundrel So many have fallen under its spell This Demon straight from Hell It brought false joy It aimed to destroy It blinds the innocent All they see is Its benevolence It makes them blind to the beauty of the Earth A place that will allow a souls rebirth It says it will save our souls Money and fame are Its only goals It turns us against each other Father, Mother, Sister, Brother It makes us judge and label It spins a deadly fable It makes us lie to ourselves It is a little evil elf It sinks its teeth into our skin Our blood running down its chin It takes the form of an angel Your soul it will mangle We all fall into its trap Only being you is the map The only way into God’s Kingdom The path to freedom This Demon lies Open your eyes God gave us the beauty of nature His love has proven to be greater Than the evil of this Demon Listen to Morgan Freeman For he is a wise man For he knows the true nature of the human Your soul is a reflection of you Your soul Nature will renew Living a simple life Without any strife Becoming a part of nature Showing love by doing a little labor Love all equally How often has it been since you have looked at nature, recently? How often have you looked at everyone the same way? Live just for today You never know what day may be your last Learn, don’t dwell, from your past The Demon will not win Let the healing Begin! © 2012 YourMajesty2102Author's Note
