No One's Ever Said That To Me Before

This chapter is in Misty's Point Of View :)

I was sitting in the nurses bouncing my leg up and down waiting for Nick to wake up. I hardly even knew him and he attacked Zach to help me get away. What Zach said to me earlier really hurt, I can't believe he would say something like that. I saw Nick moving on the bed so I got up and looked at him, he sat up fast not knowing where he was.

"Are you okay?" I asked him, feeling his eye. He winced a little. I pulled my hand back.

"Yeah, I'm fine. He can really pack a punch."

"I'm sorry."

"Why are you apologizing?" 

"It's my fault! I knew I shouldn't have broken up with him. He's right, I'm just a fattie who doesn't deserve anything or anyone."

"Don't say that. You're not fat trust me. Zach is just messing with your head." He swung his legs around the edge and looked at me. "Why did you stay with him anyways?" "He was honest with me, he told me when I'd eaten to much and when my clothes were too tight. I need to go see him, I need to get back with him." I turned to leave but Nick grabbed my wrist. "What are you doing?" I asked, he let go of my wrist and stopped me from leaving.

"He's a big jerk. He doesn't deserve you."

"But he's the only one who has ever been honest with me!"

"No, he's been lying to you. He made you weigh as much as a 3rd grader."

"But he only does that because he loves me." I was on the verge of tears knowing it was my fault he got hit. "He won't hit me or you again if I get back together with him." 

"Misty, that guy needs to be expelled, tried in court for abuse and thrown in jail. He doesn't deserve someone as beautiful as you." I blushed and his face turned a deep red before he looked down. I smiled.

"No one's ever called me that before." He looked back up at me. "It's true, my mom died when my sister was born so we have been with Selena since then. Britney's "mom" is Selena's mom. You're the first to call me that." He smiled and then I smiled. I know I've only known him for a few days but I'm starting to feel something I've never felt before.
