What you don't see

What you don't see

A Poem by Haley M
"

Why you shouldn't underestimate my faith to you

"
I have lied, cheated, and confessed
You have forgiven but not fully
The trust will never be what it was
I can still see the hurt in you
I understand any I'm not trusted alone
I wish I could take it back
If only you knew how hard I'm trying
And inside I'm dying
I just want you back!
But I can't.
I've been overly faithful
When he tried to kiss me I grew feeble
I could only imagine you.
I don't ever want to hurt you.
Never again.

He was my best friend
I was drunk
Even my intoxicated mind knew not to harm you
I hugged goodbye
I pulled away from the lips
My deep mind had imagined it
Yet I feared playing it out real.
I, behind your back
And still only faithful to you.
If only you knew.
You won't ever know
It's hidden so deep and only three know
You will never know

Haley M
Not very poetic at all. Sorry I speck from my heart, not with rhythms from my brain.
