Thrown Around

Thrown Around

A Poem by Joan Probst
"

This poem is about desiring someone who is bad for you and having them throw you around and mess you up.

"

You hate rooms full of people

Throw a fit and ignore

With eyes cast down

You throw us down

I walk through fire

You tending to that fire

With beading eyes

You throw me down

Like a cinema

I can't keep my eyes off you

You ignore and impress

I can't help but confess

You throw me away

I don't care about past lovers

Only that you keep me

Don't cross me off

Even though I am not on your list

Don't throw me amidst

Love is twisted. What we need and want can be near and so damn far away.

The above lines real life. Love need same place and same need. Rarely happens. Thank you Hale for sharing the amazing poetry.
