I Heard Your Voice

Poem @2015 by Haider

I heard your voice, with such delight,

When you, my poem, did recite.

Your lips, like honey, spoke so fresh;

It left goose bumps here on my flesh.

When God bestowed, to you, your voice,

All His angels cried out, rejoice!

And though the words, you read, I wrote,

You give them grace, within your throat.

When you recite, for me to please,

Such effort came, to you with ease.

For you, must be a special place,

Reserved by Heaven, to showcase.
