Starry night

Starry night

A Poem by Hahabeoriginal?
"

If you ever wonder what it feels like to feel alone in the night and standing in front of the ocean...

"

Starry, Starry night.

Staring in emptiness,

Moonlight by my side,

As the ocean waves sail inside my heart.

Shapes,

Forms,

Despite their differences,

Despite their endings,

All waves belong to the ocean.

But where do I belong?

Do I belong to the city?

Do I belong to the countryside?

Do I belong to the past?

Do I belong to the future?

Do I belong to people with love?

Or do I belong to a world filled with hate?

If I belong to the past,

If the old times ever come back,

Take me to myself that knew happiness.

Take me to myself that once knew my soul.

It’s not easy pretending,

That you cannot hear,

The sound of silence in your heart.

It’s not easy pretending,

That you cannot see,

The ocean as your tears.

Starry, starry night.

Shutting myself with darkness,

Because light always misunderstood me.

Though I may never find my home,

My heart belongs to each ocean wave,

Because time and tide will wait for noone.
