I'll NeverA Poem by HarukoThere were many things I wished to do with you, I wished that all of this didn't go so soon, Where I would just hold you until your days are done, Where I can just fade away with you in the sun's first bloom.
Now, I'll never kiss those rosy lips again, Those lips that were heaven sent, Those lips where I would drown in their poison. Now, I'll never kiss those rosy lips ever again.
Now, I'll never hold that skeleton of yours, That sketeton that shakes and left me safe and sure. That skeleton with marrow that was infected with imperfections. Now, I'll never hold that skeleton of yours.
Now, I'll never see that beautiful face, Where your eyes put me in my place, Where your voice will cradle the sound of madness, Where your scent will poison me until it cirlcles me with an embrace.
Now, I'll never do any of those things, Because I can't recreate what was. © 2010 HarukoAuthor's Note
