Phantom Dance

Phantom Dance

A Poem by Hachamecha

Dancing in the room

Quiet

Occasional laughs

Phantom Dance

The only human in the room

Drifting in the room with a child-like prance

Phantom Dance

Human and ghost alike

Ghosts that belong to human heads on the pike

Dancing in regal gowns

Beautiful masks hiding frowns

Human child a watching with delight

Playing with the power that is her birth right

Soul innocent and pure

Mind unintentionally rotting in a dark abyss

The dancing phantoms are sure

The human is crazy from what she will miss

Mournful melody

Ghosts dancing along

To a slow paced rhapsody

The human changing the song

The human stuck in her world

Phantom Dance

Here, she twirled

A dance never ending

A soul forever mending,

Phantom Dance
