My last momentsA Poem by HachamechaMy legs trembling My perspiration increasing rapidly My pulse quickening My body frozen in place My hands shaking My eyes widening in fear He comes towards me With a fast pace Not wasting his time But walking with grace He walks like an animal An animal ready to pounce To pounce on me Then finish me off My breath comes quick My back to the wall Nowhere to hide Running was out of the option But when I was still running There was a chance A chance of freedom But that hope was gone For I reached a dead end How ironic That I would die Because of a dead end How life laughed at me When I reached the dead end He didn’t bother to go any faster If the love of my life is a God send, Will he be considered Devil sent? Grinning like Cheshire cat He walks towards me With one step Death comes closer The when I enjoyed life Was a lifetime ago Or so it seemed I quickly texted everyone Saying sorry and I love everybody That the one-handed killer got me I tell them not to worry That to just live life to the fullest Because you don’t know When death will claim you He gets his cutlass My breath coming quick He was 2 feet away Then he lunged for me He killed me with his signature A body in half, in two Cut through the chest, Clean through the bone © 2011 Hachamecha |
