Candle Flame

Candle Flame

A Poem by Hachamecha

It's so easy

your life snuffing out

like a candle flame

The flame bright

you're young

the flame flickering out of sigh

you're ould

lived a life

faced obsticles

It took you so much time

to grow

to understand

but it's so easy

to take it out

the flame

your life

a box dropping

a sick cartoon

of a piano

an iron pole

crushing you

why is it

so easy to destroy?

to destroy life,

a building,

a thriving population

A tree

tall
strong

It took 200 years

but sudden death nears

It took 200 years

to grow to its current glory

but when the chainsaw sounds

the teeth cutting through

200 years wasted

that's the tree's story

to live

to struggle

Effortless

to snuff out

the candle flame
