You crossed my mind again

 

Rolling like a storm through my veins

 

I thought I'd lost you my friend

 

Yet here you are again

 

How long will you stay with me now

 

Fleeting Golden like the Sun

 

You'll leave me again somehow

 

Just like you always do

 

I thought you were gone

 

Just an unmentionable lie

 

And I don't think I have won

 

This argument of time

 

The stone has quickened beneath my feet

 

And the smile of hell awaits my dying

 

But maybe again our souls will meet

 

As they have before

 

I still wonder if in my defeat

 

I will recall myself once more
