I left him in the English rain

He still wanted her more and never had enough of her. 

She still wanted him to stay and felt like he was never there long enough. 

He was standing in the doorway, smiling, ready to leave. 

She gave him her sad "Goodbye".

He replayed with his casual "See you later".

She closed the door, took a deep breath and whispered: "I wish..." 

She knew - she never again will have the chance to be in his arms.
