Goodbye Love

Goodbye Love

A Poem by H.W. Jon
"

Poem about suicide.

"
  • She embraces the angel of death
  • That she has called upon,
  • She always had a desire for dramatics,
  • And a love of the wanton.
  • The demon sweeps down
  • Toward the bed where she lies,
  • With pills
  • And tequila
  • By her side

  • Even in death
  • She is a beautiful figurine.
  • In the throes of suicide
  • She is still serene.
  • Her lips still soft
  • Though her skin is cold.
  • No longer to kiss
  • No more to hold.

  • She has left this world,
  • On her own.
  • And now i'm left here,
  • All alone
