Goodbye Love
A Poem by H.W. Jon
Poem about suicide.
- She embraces the angel of death
- That she has called upon,
- She always had a desire for dramatics,
- And a love of the wanton.
- The demon sweeps down
- Toward the bed where she lies,
- With pills
- And tequila
- By her side
- Even in death
- She is a beautiful figurine.
- In the throes of suicide
- She is still serene.
- Her lips still soft
- Though her skin is cold.
- No longer to kiss
- No more to hold.
- She has left this world,
- On her own.
- And now i'm left here,
- All alone
