Little bullet's birthdayA Story by HoliIt was little Sadev's birthday. He is turning 5 today. His whole nursery is there around him to wish him on his birthday. My job was to paint their tiny dreams on their rosy cheeks, and soft hands. I guess it was one of the most amazing feeling an adult could have. Face painting was never my thing, and it was the first time I tried it as well, but I guess it went pretty well. every single kid was an angel, they are so specific in selecting their face paint colors. where one little boy said "I want a blue tiger", and another beautiful princess said "I want a yellow butterfly with red spots" The kids are so gorgeous, innocent and most of all so adorable for their age. I loved counting out loud with them the dots I keep on their cheeks, and also telling them what I am going to draw every time I finish one part of the drawing. that feeling when they say I'll come to your place, or I love you, thank you for the nice painting, such truly felt words they are. I saw sadev in the merry-go-round, and then coming running and asking for a leopard painting. painting went for nearly four hours without any break, not a single water drop, I was so much into it, which made me forget that I should drink something or may be eat something. their cuteness made me forget all the depression I was going through. I was living in that moment same as how they did, they made me feel special and loved. the best thing about kids are their true feelings always being expressed, their love to live and enjoy the moment, not getting offended and really meaning what they say. this evening is a lovely evening which I will never forget, not because I was their face painter, but because I felt I belonged to that family, for even for a moment. and because I could make the little bullet's birthday a colorful one! © 2015 HoliAuthor's Note
