Romeo and Juliet Couplet

Romeo and Juliet Couplet

A Poem by Gabrielle Conroy
"

For my English class freshman year we had to write a couplet poem about the story. Here it is...

"
I love you Romeo now and forever.
And I dream of always being together
But because of the feud that keeps our families apart
Our love that has stopped will never restart
I am a Capulet and you, a Montague
Our age doesn’t matter whenever I am with you
When I go to sleep, I dream about you every night
And when we are near or far, I’ll never let you out of my sight

Well-versed in the lines of this poem...we can still learn much from a lover story and the history of this narrative of Romeo and Juliet...just never fades to those who study the literature in school...
