Velvet Touch

Velvet Touch

A Poem by Holly Mason

The eyes know all
Under a velvet touch
You see without sight
Hear with no words
Under the soft ,velvet touch
A vibe, a feeling
Loneliness gone
Correspondence comes
From just a touch
A soft smooth ,velvet touch
Awakening the senses
But they do not exist
Steals all secrets
The one with the velvet touch
The eyes tell all
No words are spoken
Taste is nothing
Under the velvet touch

It would be wonderful if the lover who, physically, has your number, were also your true soulmate.
Get the feeling, however, that this idealized scenario is not what you're talking about.
Powerful piece, Holly!

touch always has much more impact than words...actions speak the loudest...but will words be backed up?

never can tell...a profound statement in this poem...

so glad to read your poems from the deepest part of your heart, again.
