Embers of HueA Poem by Holly Mason
upon an autumn leaf I write
by embers dawn of firelight immerse your wishes in a wishful way whispering whispers of words they say empty your pockets of forever past look to the skies, wishing so fast with embers cracking wishes will say I spare the soul , for only this day the summers moonbeam candlelight rupturing the whispers to dawns delight paid with penalties of flightless wings no wordless words for souls to sing beauty falling, floating down a blissful, peaceful ,autumn crown trembling, falling, slowly to light forever suspended, vibrant and bright the wishes of wishers come in empty words , true but the words of the wishers in embers of hue
