AWHILE

a trace of you left on a road

a trace of me baring the heaviest load

conspiring theories rock the vein

gone for awhile but still quite sane

earthly being that casts the light

heading backwards looking left then right

making sense of the senseless seems

walking a road with only lost dreams

chasing them, run faster then life

over your shoulder toss all strife

loads will lighten dreams are in reach

but without these steps we could not teach

entities are empty until they feel pain

Your words really care, don't they, care about the person who's really and truly living life, taking the knocks, taking what's being thrown his/her way. Oh Holly, the beginning of this feels so sad to me. She has so much to do and as she follows this road, she keeps looking back. Finally, she decides enough is enough and she tosses all that baggage away. She is lighter now. At least, that is what I see.
