What a fantastic piece for our jacob! this is truly beautiful.... I read his poem about the typewriter in metaphors, and I was happy I did. You here bring more nostalgia (even to me too), for I remember those and did worked on them too in the 80's.... lol just a perfect ode to him! :) thanks for sharing.

Would I be aging myself if I admit to learning how to type on a machine much like this one? I know I still find myself listening for the ding at the end of the sentence. (Young folk wont get that reference)

that is an awesome machine, i remember typing class in middle school, Ms. Simons was an old woman already and we were so very young, I never thought that teacher and machine would one day be nearly extinct
