Star Dust

Star Dust

A Poem by Holly Mason

starting star dust
is not without skill
cook  it just right
for the cheap thrill
a haunting delight
of noxious notions
keeping the girl
filled with love potion
now grab a pot
stir it with care
add a bit of pumpkin
and a little rodent hair
the temperature
has to be so set
that all will be done
all requirements met
star dust is calling
up on lovers hill
boil it down
stirring to fill
add a touch
of wicked witch toe
now let it cool
take off of the fire
resting a bit
making star dust
gets you tired
time to pack it
in little potions bottle
getting her to drink it
isn't a part of this job though!*)

Hmm
A pinch of nose
With vial hovering
Over the mouth
Followed by
Rapid emptying
Of said vial
As the throat is
Gently massaged
Ensuring everlasting
Love.

I am reminded of Shakespeare's witches stirring the pot, saying "Double, double, toil and trouble..." :) This is great - and now I have the recipe for star dust! :)

Darn, I've got the stuff all mixed and prepared and now I have to figure out how to get her to drink it?

Very fun to read Holly. Nice to see you again.
