Within the castles walls

Within the castles walls

A Poem by Holly Mason

Such glory in the sky
this castling back light
gates of hoarding gold
stirrings in the passer by
wishing wishes of stars
behind the gate
hoarders of gold
human blessings
do not exist
glory it is
deceiving light
closing her eyes
to him no fight
gold has been hoarded
stations are held above
worth nothing
she lays quiet
branches breaking
gates are locked
she waits with haste
gold hoarders child
left in the rain
no caring, no claim
bang the gates
take your glory
climb the walls
even castles fall

Holly, your poem is wonderful. I find it somewhat dreamlike and somewhat reality. Very nice.
