skipping stones

skipping stones

A Poem by Holly Mason

skipping stones
waters tide
love in wide open
with no one, hide
keep it up
figure it out
pour so much less
the two for the moment
makes such a mess
let him go
tread waters tide
evil intent
his lonely wife's eyes
hold him close
one last time
skipping stones
waters tide
love in wide open
faithfully died
