Sunday tango

Sunday tango

A Poem by Holly Mason

let's dance
nervous...me to
now place your left hand
on my right hip
the other on my lower back
I will lead for a bit
my right knee dips in
so yours dips back
now left foot one step forward
my left will go back
now repeat
swish and sway
with a little sashay
all afternoon
a Sunday tango
a dramatic dip
hair in the wind
with a zip pop
a record player
turns with song
a Sunday tango
zip pop style

A mother teaching her son how to get down the basics before going to a school dance. Do mothers still teach their sons how to dance?

Don't be sorry, it is not your fault it's Sunday, or is it? LOL
Awwww... a little dancing on a Sunday afternoon. Barefoot on the front porch while a gentle breeze stirs your hair. Nothing better then leaning into your partners warm body while you whirl. Love this little trip into sweet romance. ;-)
