The Bunny Effect

Now take the two strings

upon your very shoes

make two loops

these are your bunny ears

now twist the ears

send one into the hole

pull them tight

the bunny effect

done just right

velcro you say

but the bunny cannot play

and to be so young

with no bunny to come from

will only as an adult

leave you numb

Holly, I have come to the conclusion that reading your work is like watching a reality show based on your life. Your poems are so now, so everyday and so much like what everyone of us walks past without even a brief notice. I have never heard of tying ones shoes to be known as the Bunny Effect. Now just put on a pair of those shoe high sock with the little fuzzy balls on the back and you have the entire creature.
