Navigational errors

Navigational errors

A Poem by Holly Mason

Now the top is the bottom.
But wisely we know it was just an error .
we have had a navigational error .
So if we start to read from the bottom to the top,
They are the first line on the bottom.
A wall-flower ,corner hugger.
They are different.
But they are at the bottom.
They are the same ,with red blood.
A navigational error was made.
What if we looked at people this way?
A first line bottom reading to the top.
We each have our own thoughts.
We look and perceive.
Our training makes it so.
Why would it be so difficult?
Confusing to read out of pattern.
Does it warrant less then at the top?
but has been placed on the bottom.
This is the first line,                                                         <-----STARTS HERE

This one made me think of that saying; Don't judge a book by the cover, of coarse the outside will always look better than what inside or top from bottom.
nice work.

but to have a duke as a chick...when a duke is a duke...as can be...is a mean patty trick
i am astounded by the complexity of this piece. it plainly states to begin at the bottom and yet it reads well in either direction. i know this because i began at the top and then saw the instruction....you are slick! this goes in my faves, because it is unique and clever to a fault!

In the Marines we are to know each other well, even if we don't like the guy. It helps at building that unit. One mission many backgrounds. Good piece. Keep working at what brings you happiness.

thank you fine sir very much am working on opening my detail shop...love cars true happiness*)
A good poem on perceptions of others and our reading patterns of thought . Like you say start from the bottom and climb the ladder till you reach the top then you will see a different perspective than starting at the top. You can relate more to people and connect more to their issues. This make me think of the show : Undercover Boss where they come to realizations that they misjudged those people and to make the company better they have to listen to people at the bottom of the success ladder.
Another one of your great writes...:)
