Forgotten Arms

Forgotten Arms

A Poem by Holly Mason

The arms that care
are right here
have you forgotten

The warmth of myself
I have offered
have you forgotten

Arms with encircling love
will surround
remember

The entrancing glances
heaven sent kisses
recall them

The arms that care
remember
they cannot forget

Sometimes children cannot return the love to their parents. As they grow, they forgot that parents have those loving arms they should always remember and be grateful for it.

Sigh. Hope your barren arms are soon filled, once more.
