Homeless HomeA Poem by Holly Mason
Looking back I see a space
A room an eternity filled with hate unwanted child lost and alone bringing the feeling of a homeless home Safety nets, do not surround a symphony of pain resounds a guiding hand, a quiet spirit patiently waiting the child hears it coming up, gasping for air an unwanted upbringing leaving unfair no hope, no peace just quietly sit ask for nothing ,make sure you fit in a corner starring around my room be perfect ,a star, to suspend the doom I was not a blessing, unto them I cry answer one question then why did you try an unwanted grandchild brought up in this home quenching the thirst for a family unknown as I grew I knew I was a burden then she said so of this I was certain a homeless home with no loving arms a roller coaster ride with no alarms I often wonder why not let me be adopted but the shame of community coldly stopped it homeless home an eternity affair for even now I cater to this care
