Up down

Up down

A Poem by Holly Mason

What goes up
must come down
what was lost
has now been found
up down
sheer sensations
Up down
keen observations
Up down
a wayward moment
Up down
souls screaming atonement
Up down
which one today
Down no way
Up is taking
it's turn this day
Down is coming
as it has to
for what goes down
has been sent up
without
Up down
lifeless stuck

I like this. Always better being up than down, although we wouldn't understand one without the other.

thank you...*)
Commenting rather than critiquing gives me a thoughtful way of reacting to the thoughts I hear. I wonder if we have a mental "Reset" that auto-places us back at the lobby after each trip - up or down. Somedays I wonder if we have multiple lobbies at different mind levels so sometimes we CAN start off - differently than a day before.

On what floor does this elevator stop? Nice one Holly, life does have its ups and downs, but often it is what sits in the middle that is the most fun.
