Mike ate a sandwich

Mike had a sandwich for lunch.

Mike was thinking how amazing his life is.

Mike was thinking about his wife,home and children.

Mike is a happy man, just eating a sandwich.

Noisy Betty saw him and waved.

Noisy Betty met girlfriends for lunch.

I saw Mike eating a sandwich,

he was licking his lips.

The ladies leave their lunch table.

Noisy Betty did not quite get the attention she needs.

Noisy Betty goes to a garden group meeting.

I saw Mike eating a sandwich,licking his lips,and winking.

The ladies are so interested Betty is glowing.

Mike was winking at the waitress, who winked back!

A week later Noisy Betty is once again looking for an ear.

Mike was eating a sandwich last week and left with the waitress.

Oh the attention that is surrounding her such a social glow.

Mike's wife found out that poor Mike ate a sandwich,

except he licked,he winked, and did the unthinkable.

So now his wife has done the unthinkable, with Mike's boss.

Mike's life is a mess...Noisy Betty shines.

I have to say that last line surprising made me laugh out loud. This seems to be a little unorthidox in its presentation as a poem, but you know what it works. It reads so fast, but that mimics the lady who gossips making sure to get every last detail out of her system. Good write.
