Moon at a Distance

Moon at a Distance

A Poem by Holly Mason

Glowing beams
life filled light
making earth
seem
heavenly bright
starting time
open soul
moon beams
grow
nobody knows
trace flickers
standing still
moon beams
on a cold
window sill
touch and hold
hug and kiss
moon beam
so heavenly
touching souls
brilliantly

Holly, your creative output is impressive !

I like how 'moon beams' provides your structure for stanzas.

Your poem captures that very nice feeling of basking in moonlight.

Well done!
