Why am I hungover?

Why am I hungover?

A Poem by Holly Mason

a porch
a rocker
and the
setting
of the
sun
reaching
for a
falling star
fell off
of the rocker
onto
the porch
and the rising
of the
sun

Amazing how the world seems to revolve at a different speed after a drink or five, throwing you of kilter, isn`t it Holly? A dizzy piece! P.

I'm not proud of it, but I did that once. In my case, no rocking chair was needed--just gravity.

Sunday fun is often the best fun, the day you have time to see more clearly but then, maybe not in this case! Love the way your words drip down the page .. clever, graphic piece of writing. Thank you for sharing. :)

I think you are drunk on nature, and that is one of the best highs, next to being drunk on love.

I am high on life...have a good Monday
Had to smile to myself when I read this. The way you structured the poem guides the reader along with the speaker. All the way to the floor of that porch. Truly enjoyed this, Holly
