All just Broke Folks

All just Broke Folks

A Poem by Holly Mason

Only for this writer
does this opinion apply.
But color is blankless,
all our wallets are dry.

What ever country,
we hail from,
it is a bust to be broke,
but we are not bums.

Look down at those,
who make less then others.
All of us have families.
We are not sisterless brothers.

The ladder goes up.
Maybe all the rungs are taken.
For us it is all ramen top.
Damn ,we would love some bacon!

When a child goes to school,
color is not what they see.
Who gets free lunch?
That is the new social fee.

So only in this opinion,
does this all come to life.
But the world is colorless,
with cash now our strife.
