The Grey

The Grey

A Poem by Travis Gibson (poetic heroics)
"

Sitting in absence.

"
In this lingering night,
I cast these heartstrings no more.
The fog of your absence is thick
and I can no longer pilot the grey.
This empty, hazy space is convincing.
I must shrink away from your misty abandonment
to let the new day come and find me - smiling.

Thank you... I can only be grateful for those thoughts.
Absence makes the heart ❤ grow fonder. I hope for reunification with your beloved. A sad but touching poem.
