listen one, listen all

lend me your ear...

bring your slim, your round

your small, your tall

i have something you all must hear

without further ado

i bring to you

the content of this speech

i'm speaking of an angel

yes, an angel

the one we soon shall meet

her appearance exactly,

well, of that i'm not too sure

but i know her mind and body

comes untainted

so, we must only teach things that are pure

about entering the world,

i don't know

if that is what she's ready to do

she is my daughter

i am her dad

this will always be true

and to all of the one's

who chose to listen...

i thank you

you now know

i'm no longer one---

i'm two

Wrote this for my unborn daughter when i was 18, she is a beautiful young lady now. Hollywood I hope you enjoy reading it! ;)

Well, the reason being... you are one of my favorite writer's here. You write from a sincere place and your work reflects that. Any good writer can write about a lake, it takes a sincere one to write why that the lake makes them want to turn away, or jump in.
