SpaceA Poem by Travis Gibson (poetic heroics)when she leavesNothing around me matters, if you aren't within my arms reach. Panic and confusion blankets my world as space between you and I deepens; the walls of a normal room warp awkwardly when you aren't in it. Outside becomes a void of emptiness--- morning, afternoon, and night... all just generic copies of redundancy. The space that divides you and I consumes even myself... now lost, swimming or drowning I can't tell. This space tortures, because there's no room for death. Come back close and bring back with you normality, and make this space make sense again. © 2013 Travis Gibson (poetic heroics)Reviews
