The Voice Of Mother EarthA Poem by DOROTHYshe is talking to usTHE VOICE OF MOTHER EARTH©

There was peace above and around me I could hear the children play The aroma of flowers I sent out At night time as well as the day,
But peace and quiet was broken People running all over the place The smell of burning branches The rubbish all over my face,
My beautiful grass was so green Dew drops sparkled so bright My body is looking so old now So I watch the stars at night,
I’m crying out loud in such pain My body is dug up and torn Green grass once covered me nicely Like a dress a woman has worn,
My trees are being up-rooted Is this all that I am worth I’m hurting why you can’t hear me I am The Voice Of Mother Earth. © 2013 DOROTHYReviews
