Lovers moon

Lovers moon

A Poem by Hammerschild
"

A Poem about fury and mercy. Love that cheats death

"

Lovers Moon.

She stands.

Beneath a frosted oak.

Steamy breath.

Drifts from her hooded cloak.

She awaits.

Her cursed lovers touch.

A beast from a man.

She loves so much.

His howl

Drifts over the peaks.

A single tear marks her cheeks.

He runs.

Nose in the air.

He catches her scent .

Of lavender so fair.

His hunger.

From inside him deep.

His blood on fire.

his running turns to leaps.

She sees.

Him coursing .

Over the glen.

Muscles taunt

With a joyless grin.

She feels

Sadness and relief.

This luckless life.

Dark but brief.

He bounds

Closing the gap.

Growling and snarling

Not sensing the trap.

He roars !!

Jaws open wide

In rage, barly feels .

Her knife in his side.

They fall.......

In a fury.

Of satin and fur.

Years in the making.

Ends in a blur.

They lay......

In flawless snow.

Ringed in red.

From the crimson flow.

They see....

Each other.

In deaths embrace.

Souls Locked.

Face to face.

They fade.....

Into the abyss.

Lovers free.

To roam wild in bliss.
