Adis Arises

A Chapter by RANDOMNESS.com

back in the air above Berk again, Harla was slightly embarassed. Instead of her usual clothes, she was wearing a chain mail knee-length skirt, leggings, fox skin boots, a silk, purple tunic, and a sheepskin vest with a fleecy collar. Gunnhild had changed into a leather shirt, skirt, leggings, and bearskin boots her dad had made for her. The two girls landed outside of their companion's house. As they did, a dragon with coppery skin ran out to greet them. it's reddish orange eyes lit up as it caught sight of it's companion dragons, and it bellowed out a shrill greeting. "Wow Firescreech," Gunnhild greeted as she twisted a finger in her ear. "You're just as shrill as ever." Suddenly, the door swung open as Adis clumped out the door, and off the porch. The dark haired girl had lost her lower right leg in a hunting accident several years before, so she stumped around on a peg leg.
"Mom and dad were sleeping genius." She adressed the metallic looking stoker class dragon. "They're not very happy with you." Then she turned to her two friends. "What's going on?"
"I hope you don't have any chores or anything, Hiccup said he had some important news, and we're already late." With surprising agility for a one legged girl, Adis vaulted into Firescreech's saddle, and they took off.
Flying back over Berk, they met up with Siv, who was still plucking small blades of rice grass from her face. The four girls, and their dragons zipped in and out around houses, and catapults. Until they touched down outside the great hall. All of the other teens' dragons, except Tim and Toothless, were settled in the small clearing outside the great hall. "Great, were late." Harla grumbled.
