The golden dragon of thunder

  Alex was completely annoyed. Alice beckman, the know-it all of the sophomore class was correcting him AGAIN. "You should never use the word ain't Alex. It is an incorrect shortening of the words "are not". That was it. Alex had had enough.

"I DON'T CARE! I AIN'T GONNA STOP SAYING AIN'T! YOU MIGHT AS WELL GIVE UP! I AIN'T GONNA LISTEN TO YA TELLIN' ME NOT TO SAY AIN'T, CAUSE I AIN'T GONNA STOP!" Alice's flinch told him he'd laid it on a little too harsh. He puffed out a sigh. "Look. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna talk the way I talk. There ain't no changin' that." Her face twisted in a scowl, she hauled back, and smacked him across the face. She turned with a toss of her brown hair, and walked away. 

Suddenly, A huge metal dragon smashed through the front door of the school. Between stone breaking, glass shattering, steel supports shrieking as they bent and broke, students screaming, and the dragon roaring, the noise was deafening. Alex looked around in a 360 degree turn. Everyone who was looking in his general direction were staring at the dragon. The time was now.

He took up a fighting stance as a ring of yellow energy appeared on the floor around him, and he was engulfed in a spiral of the golden energy. More kids screamed when they saw what looked like a new threat. As the spiral dissipated, a monstrous dragon made entirely of gold stepped out. The metal dragon recognized a dracomancer, and used a nail rain attack to defend itself. The golden dragon snarled as the metal spikes slammed into it leaving large dents and scratches. Then it threw it's head back, and let loose a bolt of lightning from the pit of its stomach. The metal dragon screeched in agony as it disappeared in a blast of thunder and lightning. When the electricity ceased to crackle, all that was left was a scorched spot on the floor of the school.
