Nights in a swamp.A Poem by RANDOMNESS.com
It's all so dark and mysterious
So awful frightening that it'd make you delirious Up to my knees in grime-filled water the color of obsidian the fog oh the horrible fog It clouds me in and frightens me out of it come running my friends and loved ones everyone intent on killing me Trees reach out with skeletal-like fingers intent on grasping me and pulling me to them as i stumble through the water I look for the moon but find none I stumble some more and fall as I rise to run vines that lay under water grab my legs my body my arms my face I tell myself at least it is over then I see her my own mother standing on the bank She morphs into what seems to be a man-eating plant and as the vines constrict she begins to eat.
