Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Roxii

 When I go to work,

 When I go to school,

  I am missing you.

 I think about you constantly,

  My Rosabella.

 Rosabella,

You are always on my mind.

 My first child,

  my only child,

 I don't want you scared.

I will always come back to you.

My mother watches over you while your Daddy and I are

               gone.

 She loves you,

   she cherishes you,

     she spoils you.

 You are my baby,

   I love you so much.

 Your eyes,

Just like your father's;

The purest green with specks of

           Gold.

 Your hair,

   beautiful locks of Auburn.

  Your smile,

It's so big and so bright,

It lights up the whole world.

When I hold you in my arms,

I never want to let you go.

 You fall asleep there,

   looking so peaceful,

                    beautiful,

                      wonderful,

                        inncent.

 When I'm gone,

I know you are in good hands.

It easaes my mind just a little.

  But mother bear can always

             kick in.

I have to admit, this poem tugged at my heart with the mentioning of parents being busy with a child. Your formatting of your description of how she sleeps is a little off as well as the spelling being "innocent". I would run a spell check over this, but it's a sweet piece that appeals to the mother in all of us.

Aw I love this. Rosabella has to be one lucky child for you to write something so beautiful about your child.

all what i can say to comment on this, life is really hard, if it werent, we would never be away from our children for any reason specially we are sure, whoever they are with, they would never be comfortable like when they are with us..
i know you are trying to make your daughter pationt and undrstanding that you have to leave her but i dont think that kids would ever understand that situation, at the same time, i know you have to work for her sake..so, life is really hard..
