Untitled.A Story by Adam Latham100 word flash fiction piece that I wrote a few years ago. :)
'No one takes the time to dig a proper grave anymore,' Thomas mumbled to himself, as he slammed a spade down hard into the weed infested ground to reveal the pristine earth underneath.
'It's become a lost art. Nowadays it's all fancy diggers scooping out holes willy-nilly without a thought for a straight edge. You wouldn't catch me behind the wheel of one of those monstrosities, that's for sure.' Spades are so much better, he thought, and so much more versatile. Whoever heard of a husband killing their cheating wife with a bulldozer to the back of the neck? © 2018 Adam LathamReviews
