Chapter Three-The Woods

Chapter Three-The Woods

A Story by gypsynight

The woods felt unfamiliar and ominous.
Filled with mysterious beings and cold fear buried in your heart.
Branches of the trees reaching out to me as a cry for help, beckoning me to come closer.

How is it that you can forget everything you intend to remember.
I had forgotten which path it was.
I stood in view of four paths overgrown.
One could only bring me the way back.

I am a man of no directional sense I would get lost in the woods just like your poem says not a boy scout could not use a compass either.
