Tight Rope Shoes

Tight Rope Shoes

A Poem by Ronda
"

This is about being be chilishly rebellious and angry about someone telling you how it feels to be a certain way and how to do it.

"

People walk in all sorts of shoes,
leather,
canvas,
heels,
loafers,
old and new.

Some walk in mud
some walk on grass
some walk on concrete
and some walk on a tight rope
suspended from the air
without a net.

I don't know what shoes you wear,
but mine are definitely the tight rope
shoes because not too many people
have worn those, but all think they know
how it would feel and what they would
do if they did.

Go ahead, punk! Try them on and get up on that tight rope and I'll laugh my a*s off while you fall.
