Drifter's RemorseA Poem by Ashlyn Olivia
I replace the moon in the sky
With a charm hanging from the wind chime You don't know it, but a peace settles within me When I think of your face Though you have gone away Now I am alone With a decaying soul Hold me With your arms that are miles away Say it's okay Those nights we laughed Those nights we cried All the times we tried Seeing eye to eye It's not fair But it is You needed your space It's not fair But it is I still need your grace Come back to me
