Where's Tomorrow?

Where's Tomorrow?

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

A dream/vision

"

I had a dream
on June 13
2012.

In this dream
the world we know...
no longer dwelt.

The sky was dim
the air was slim...
depression took hold.

The powers stood still
as they begin to reel...
us in from the cold.

I saw right through them
they saw I knew them...
they ran after me.

I hid in bare bushes
behind things and wishes...
for them to go away.

They didn't find me
and out of curiosity...
I decided to stay.

I watched as they gave
these people like slaves...
a stamp of some kind.

They said to tell others
my sisters, my brothers...
no food will they find.

Not unless our hand
has their brand...
nothing can we buy.

They found me and held
as I struggled like hell...
I wanted to die.

No electric, no water
no shelter why bother...
I would not take that mark.

I screamed and yelled
I punched, I fell...
my sight growing dark.

I would not live
in a place that give...
ONLY if we submit.

The power that day
from God they did stray...
I could feel it.

I woke before I knew
what became of us few...
who did not follow.

I want to deny
this could happen in life...
but I felt our earthly sorrows.

Where's Tomorrow?

Kick a*s poem. The struggle ,the strength, even hints at one of my troublesome words, "submission" The weight of it out side the service to god is suffocating .

Thanks Lee Von, much appreciated.
A very interesting thought.
Do we continue to live normal lives knowing Big Brother is watching? Planning?
I liked the flow of this poem.
